$194,361 state grant with $341,839 matching federal funds to fund energy
conservation measures for the WA State National Guard armories.

Washington Army National Guard buildings are designed to meet the building
and energy codes (LEED, Energy Star, etc.), operated and maintained in a
manner that minimizes the use of energy and water and their costs without
adversely impacting building functions, productivity and occupant comfort.
• Monitor computerized energy systems (Delta
Controls), utility bills and analyze data to recommend procedures in reducing
energy needs.
• Gather, analyze, and compile program data into a
simple clear presentation such as power point slides to provide stakeholders
with an overview of program activities, a user manual with instructions to
monitor and how to reduce energy consumption and other activities that
outline trends and provide data on mission related goals and objectives.
